What a Girl

One morning, Maya decides to take a desperate step: she goes to the school principal and accuses her boyfriend of violence. The decision is not easy for her; she understands that not everyone will believe that Mike, the star of... the school track team, the golden boy, is capable of such things. Her friend, a feminist activist, believes they need to fight for justice and takes it upon herself to organize a protest that ultimately turns into an event unrelated to Maya's problem. Together, the girls try to figure themselves out, who they really are: strong personalities, clearly knowing what they want and what they are striving for, or victims unable to cope with the burden of responsibility placed on them by their parents, society, and themselves.
