The Killer House in the Ring of Fire

"The House of the Setting Sun" by the famous detective author Yuzan Takarada is an extremely mysterious mansion with many hidden rooms. This place is literally filled with strange mechanisms. Once, they served for the writer's intellectual games, but now... he is bedridden and barely coherent. A forest fire has trapped a rather motley group in Takarada's house. The people found themselves cut off from the world by a ring of fire. To escape, they must find a secret passage hidden somewhere in the building. However, the search is interrupted by a shocking event – the writer's granddaughter... is crushed by an intricate suspended ceiling in one of the rooms. Among the group are two people with outstanding deductive skills. Asukai Hikaru, a former detective, believes it to be an accident – the house itself killed the girl. Teruyoshi Katsuragi – a novice detective, however, he is convinced: the killer is one of them. In the face of imminent death in the fire, these two begin a battle of minds…
