Kir Bulychev (real name Igor Vsevolodovich Mozheiko, 1934—2003) is a beloved Soviet science fiction writer for many generations, the "father" of the famous space traveler Alice Selezneva.
In the novel "A Hundred Years Ahead," she has to come to the rescue of a schoolboy named Kolya, who found a time machine, went into the future, and, to his misfortune, caught the keen attention of two bandits — the Jester and Kryss.
