The world after a global catastrophe. Ancient Slavic gods have returned to our world after long wanderings and punished people by taking away the sun. The only hope of humanity is the mages, deurums, messengers of the gods on Earth.
Dea, a police lieutenant and low-level mage, maintains the balance of the forces of nature. Without people like her, the world would have long since perished in the underworld of Chernobog. One day, during an investigation, she encounters a mercenary who lives outside the law.
