Behind the Scenes. About the Hidden Work of Our Psyche

In the book "Behind the Scenes," like in cinema, several lines develop in parallel. The first line is a narrative about the work of the autonomic nervous system. With wit no less than that of the creators of the animated... film "Inside Out," Svetlana Jackson tells how different "selves" jostle in the "living room" of our consciousness and how they can be reconciled.
The second line is dedicated to the life of the author (who is also the heroine of the narrative). This heroine can be bewildered, frightened, awkward, but she finds her way out of various situations thanks to humor and, of course, professional knowledge, because she understands that people's reactions are normal, and they have much more power to manage their emotional lives than they sometimes think.
