Secrets Never Die

In one of the houses in the town of Scarlett Falls, gunfire erupts in the middle of the night. The body of a former deputy sheriff is found at the crime scene, and all evidence points to his adopted son Evan. The young man mysteriously disappears, and the sheriff leading the investigation is convinced that he committed the crime. Lance simply cannot stand aside when Evan's mother begs him for help. But is Evan really a victim, as his mother tries to convince everyone, or has 'bad blood' turned him into a brutal killer? Time is running out, and the case is hitting a dead end.
