Alexander Pushkin at the rendezvous. Love poetry with commentary and digressions

The book is a collection of love poetry by A. S. Pushkin, arranged chronologically from 1813 to 1836. From the first semi-childish poems to the later poetic masterpieces, the journey of the Pushkin lyrical hero, changing and evolving over the... years, is traced. The poems are accompanied by commentaries related to their literary context, the everyday life of Pushkin's time, and the circumstances of the poet's personal life. Digressions dedicated to specific overarching motifs, constant themes, and images of Pushkin's love poetry allow for a deeper understanding of its uniqueness. The commentaries and digressions are written by O. S. Muravyeva, senior researcher at the Institute of Russian Literature (Pushkin House) of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
