Bride of the Hills

Eshlin is a girl from the Shi people. One day, she met a young druid named Bradan in her world of hills and fell in love with him, and he with her. But Bradan disappeared, literally taking part of Eshlin's... soul with him.
Brendan Byrne is a master of ritualism at the magic university of Dean Eirin. He lives four hundred years after Bradan and resembles him like an older brother. He also considers the Shi to be merely an old fairy tale, beautiful and terrifying.
A temporal anomaly brings these two together to uncover the mystery of Bradan's disappearance and to return Eshlin's soul. But what will prove stronger: the chasm between the two peoples or a feeling carried through the centuries?
