"The Diary of Anne Frank" is one of the most famous and widely read books in the world, having sold 30 million copies and becoming a symbol of the indomitable strength of the human spirit. After the war, Anne Frank, who died in a concentration camp in March 1945, wanted to publish her diary under the title "The Secret Annex." However, for seventy years, readers knew the diary of the Dutch schoolgirl only in editions compiled by editors from its various versions.
