The Corleone clan is the most powerful in all of America.

To society, they are oil merchants, but in reality, their sphere of influence is much greater. 

The one thing Don Corleone does not want to dirty his hands with is drugs.

His refusal deeply offends the other families. Such a thing is unforgivable for an aging don.

A long war between the clans begins. The concept of blood vengeance is still alive, so the massacre can only be stopped by taking a risky step.
