This book includes three prose works by the great Russian poet A.S. Pushkin, who, according to literary scholars, managed to reach such a level of mastery in prose that his key role in the history of national literature is recognized unconditionally. In addition to the mystical story "The Queen of Spades," in which Pushkin explores the nature of human passion that can lead to a fateful crime, the collection also includes two unfinished works, published posthumously, - "Egyptian Nights" and "Peter the Great's Negro."
