Two years have passed since Yeonso left her office job to become a children's writer. And ever since then, misfortune has followed her: no publishing house wants to publish her fairy tales with a bad ending. But life, Yeonso believes,... is full of all kinds of stories — and it's okay that some of them are sad. One day, upset by yet another rejection, the girl goes for a walk and stumbles upon a strange bookstore hidden among the rocks. Even stranger is its owner. He is young but behaves as if he has been on earth for a thousand years, and he reads aloud to every visitor.
