Ernie Marino is twenty years old, and he is a potential — a person who burns out, losing the meaning of life. Others avoid potentials, as they might burn everything around them. Ernie studies at university and hides his peculiarity from his friends. With each passing day, he finds himself closer to burning out. One day, Ernie sees another potential in a lecture — and from that moment on, his life turns upside down.
