A sensation! A new release from the legendary Trish Burr!
The famous craftswoman from South Africa is known to everyone who is passionate about satin stitch embroidery. Her books have become global hits in the handicraft literature market; they have been translated into many languages and sold in thousands of copies.
It is even more pleasant to see a publication like this in Russian, as it features completely new designs developed by Trish in collaboration with the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.
The sets of botanical illustrations, or samplers, presented in this book include small images of flowers and other plants, mushrooms, insects, birds, and animals, which will be manageable even for beginners in satin stitch embroidery. All elements of the samplers can be performed and used together or separately - as your imagination decides.
Each image is accompanied by a black-and-white template for transferring onto the fabric base and a color scheme indicating the necessary shades. Like all of this author's books, the publication includes a detailed basic course on satin stitch embroidery.
You just need to be inspired by Trish Burr's unique works, choose your favorite image, and get to work!
