Colonels of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Gurov and Kryachko are vacationing in Anapa. Here, in the hotel, the final of a literary competition for detective authors is taking place. Suddenly, writer Kiryayanov is found dead in his room. He has been shot with a pistol. The main suspect is his wife. The woman, frightened, denies her guilt, claiming she has been framed. Gurov is ready to believe her, as a button with an anchor design has been found at the crime scene, one that none of the suspects have...
