Admiral Alexander Kolchak – an outstanding military strategist, naval commander, vice-admiral and admiral of the Baltic Fleet, commander of the Black Sea Fleet, corresponding member of the Petersburg Academy of Sciences, who went down in history as the leader of the White movement during the Civil War in Russia. Supreme Ruler of Russia and Supreme Commander of the Russian Army from 1918 to 1920. All commanders of the white armies recognized Kolchak. “His name is the name of a whole movement, a whole era of the Russian revolution.
