My Life

Leon Trotsky — "the demon of revolution," one of the organizers of the 1917 coup, the creator of the Red Army, and an irreconcilable opponent of Joseph Stalin in the party struggle. His autobiography was banned in the USSR immediately after it was written. In Trotsky's book, there are numerous important historical details of the October events, and the leaders of the Bolsheviks are described candidly: Lenin, Stalin, and their comrades, as well as the complicated life path of Leon Trotsky — from childhood to his expulsion from the Soviet Union. Even during the author's lifetime, the publication was reprinted multiple times and translated into many languages of the world.
