"Witch's Gallows" is an adaptation of the first story of the popular domestic fantasy series by Alexey Pehov, "Guardian".

Ludwig van Normajenn is a hunter of dark entities. His gift allows him to see incorporeal souls, and a magical dagger ruthlessly... strikes the unseen flesh. While traveling through the lands of the principalities, Ludwig arrives in Vion. All the rats have fled the city, and the skeletons of the local graveyard have left their graves and started a dance of death! The Guardian promises the mayor of Vion to help unravel these mysterious events. Tension and fear in the city are escalating, and Ludwig, unknowingly, finds himself embroiled in a dangerous intrigue of the Order of Righteousness.
