Night of Fire

Reshad Nuri Güntekin (1889–1956) — a famous Turkish writer and playwright. He gained worldwide recognition for his novel "Korolek — the Songbird" and the television series based on it. One of the main themes of Güntekin's work is love. The heroes of his novels love, are jealous, and fall into despair with a truly eastern temperament. The action of the novel "Night of Fire" takes place in the early 20th century in the Turkish province. It is a poignant and sad story about the love of a frivolous young man and a married woman.
