"Letters of a Young Doctor" is the story of the life of young doctor Stark Munro. Largely autobiographical, nearly all of its characters are based on real prototypes. The doctor is just about to open his own practice and writes about his relationships with his parents, meeting his future wife, his aspirations and plans. As well as about the latest schemes of his friend — doctor James Callingworth, who tries to radically change medical practice and even comes up with incredible inventions.
And in the novel "Country Adventures" Doyle tells the story of the restless Mrs. Westmacott — a staunch advocate for women's rights, who disrupts the tranquility of a peaceful town and changes the fate of most of the local residents.
