A year after the bloody star Misfortune shone in the skies, epics appeared on Earth - mysterious creatures with phenomenal abilities, the nature of which even they themselves do not understand.
Very soon people became convinced that the epics had firmly... taken the path of evil and peace with them was impossible. Many believed that the epics could not be defeated - they were as powerful as gods. But there were also those who did not submit to the new tyrants and entered into a merciless fight against them.
Young David Charleston dreams of destroying the villain who killed his father and destroyed his city. To get a chance at retribution, he needs to join a secret squad of fighters, ordinary people who study the epics, find a weak spot in each - and deal a fatal blow.
