Yevgeny Zamyatin: We

Yevgeny Zamyatin, Aldous Huxley, and George Orwell painted a portrait of a totalitarian system in the setting of the 20th century, each capturing their own version of the three-headed Cerberus that guards souls, not allowing them to escape from the hell of unfreedom. Each of this trio wrote one of the panels of the triptych, trying to make people horrified and take a step back from the edge of the abyss.
