Telephone Booth at the Edge of the World

The story of a real telephone booth in the Japanese garden "Bell-Gardia," which became a pilgrimage site for people from all over the world after the tsunami on March 11, 2011.

Somewhere in Japan, at the edge of the world, in a garden blown by all winds, stands a telephone booth. It has not worked for a long time, but people visit it, and their words are carried away by the wind. To the wind, they entrust the things they couldn't say to their loved ones. Yui and her mother died during the tsunami. The girl does not know how to live on. She hopes to find a sense of existence after a trip to the sea and a visit to the telephone booth. On the way, the girl meets Takeshi. The man, who once lost his wife, has been visiting the telephone booth for years. He confides his sorrows and joys to the wind, telling it about his daughter, who stopped speaking after the tragedy. In difficult times, it is hard to find the right words. Yui and Takeshi search for the necessary words to first entrust to the wind, and then to each other. Thus begins the story of two people that will simultaneously break your heart and warm your soul.
