Tsar-Fish

Once an old fisherman was teaching the village youth, telling them an ancient parable about the gigantic "tsar-fish" that lives in the local waters: "And if you, boys, have anything on your mind, a heavy sin, some shame, witchcraft –... don't get entangled with the tsar-fish, if you catch it – let it go right away". But what sin could a prosperous "strong host" Ignatich have on his soul, whom everyone in the village respects for his intelligence and skill, honesty, and willingness to help his neighbors? Why could his encounter with the mysterious "tsar-fish" cost him his life? In the terrifying moments of fighting for his life, Ignatich will have to rethink his entire past and, if he wants to avoid death, understand what he has sinned against God and people.
