The Case of Tornasol

One evening in Moulinsart, something strange starts happening – out of nowhere, the windows, mirrors, vases, and chandeliers are shattering into tiny pieces. Trying to understand what is going on, Tintin notices that all the episodes of exploding glass occur... when Tornasol is in his laboratory. Indeed: as soon as the professor left for Geneva for a nuclear physics congress, everything stopped! Moreover, the boxes filled with broken glass found in Tornasol's laboratory only confirmed this suspicion. Worse still: after visiting the laboratory, it becomes obvious to Tintin and Captain Haddock that someone is very interested in their friend's scientific developments. Without wasting any time, they fly to Geneva to warn the professor of the danger…
