The Tale of Khoja Nasreddin

Leonid Vasilievich Solovyov (1906—1962) — a Russian writer, screenwriter, and researcher of the folklore of Central Asia. He managed to transform the folk epic of the East, existing in the form of tales and anecdotes, into high literature. Solovyov's most famous work is «The Tale of Khoja Nasreddin» — a story full of humor and cunning about the adventures of the famous hero of Eastern legends.
The publication includes both books about the adventures of Khoja Nasreddin: «The Disturber of Peace» and «The Enchanted Prince».
