People from Platform No. 5

Every day Aiona commutes to work on the same train in the same carriage. And every day she sees the same people, mentally imagining how they live, what events occur in their lives, and even coming up with nicknames for them. As an experienced passenger, she knows the unwritten rule: no one ever talks to strangers on the train.

But what if she did? What adventures could such conversations draw her into?

One morning, a passenger choked on grapes right before Aiona's eyes. Sanjay, a nurse, comes to the rescue and saves his life.

And this event triggers a chain reaction. The most diverse people, who have almost nothing in common except for their commutes, start to communicate and even become friends.

And when Aiona's life collapses, her new friends are there for her.

«People from Platform No. 5» is a wonderful novel filled with joy, wisdom, warmth, and love.
