Dark Reign. List. The Amazing Spider-Man

The recent Skrull invasion changed the world. Norman Osborn, formerly known as Spider-Man's greatest foe the Green Goblin, revealed himself on the battlefield as a born leader and even killed the queen of the invaders, thereby ending the war. Since... that day, he has held power over everything related to superhumans in America.

He disbanded S.H.I.E.L.D. and formed his own organization: HAMMER. Norman seized control of the "Fifty States Initiative," infiltrated superhero teams with his people, and even assembled a personal squad of Avengers, which mostly consisted of villains from the Thunderbolts. At the helm of the greatest heroes on Earth stood Osborn himself, clad in the red, white, and blue armor of the Iron Patriot.

Needless to say, this did not please Peter Parker. He was once again at odds with the law, and the law was now represented by his arch-nemesis. Several months ago, Spider-Man attempted to overthrow Norman—just as Osborn was trying to turn his son (and Peter's best friend) Harry into the American Son, his own version of Captain America. Peter failed to defeat the Iron Patriot; however, Osborn was also unsuccessful in turning his offspring to the side of evil. Moreover, Peter's colleague from the "Frontline" newspaper managed to infiltrate Norman's headquarters and gather juicy evidence against the former Green Goblin. Osborn's thugs shut her up... but the truth always finds a way to see the light of day.
