Dark Reign. List. The Amazing Spider-Man

The recent Skrull invasion has changed the world. Norman Osborn, formerly known as Spider-Man's arch-nemesis Green Goblin, has emerged on the battlefield as a born leader and even killed the queen of the invaders, thus bringing an end to the... war. Since that day, he has held power over everything concerning superhumans in America.

He disbanded S.H.I.E.L.D. and formed his own organization: HAMMER. Norman took control of the initiative 'Fifty States', infiltrated super-hero teams with his own people, and even assembled a personal squad of Avengers, mostly composed of villains from the Thunderbolts. At the head of Earth's greatest heroes stood Osborn himself, clad in the red, white, and blue armor of the Iron Patriot.

Needless to say, this did not please Peter Parker. He is once again at odds with the law, and the law is now represented by his arch-enemy. A few months ago, Spider-Man attempted to overthrow Norman — just as Osborn was trying to turn his son (and Peter's best friend) Harry into American Son, his own version of Captain America. Peter was unable to defeat the Iron Patriot, but Osborn also failed to sway his offspring to the side of evil. Moreover, Peter's colleague from the newspaper 'Frontline' was able to infiltrate Norman's headquarters and obtain juicy evidence against the former Green Goblin. Osborn's thugs silenced her... but the truth will always find a way to come to light.
