Names change and monuments are torn down, old secrets are wrapped in new lies, friendship dies and hatred is born. Ship cannons are fired, mallets and hammers strike the groaning marble, the wine fountain strikes, and among the corpses dances a strange girl without a shadow, wearing a crown on her head.
