Dombey and Son Vol. 2

Mr. Dombey, the owner of a large successful firm, has finally had a son. Mr. Dombey is happy, as now the name of his firm "Dombey and Son" corresponds to reality. He will be able to pass the business on to his heir, and the continuity of generations will not be disrupted! Everything else is insignificant to Mr. Dombey. The death of his wife does not sadden him, and he is indifferent to his daughter, as all of this is irrelevant to the future of the firm. All his thoughts are of his son, who, alas, turns out to be weak in health, and this puts his father's dreams at risk. Is Mr. Dombey capable of understanding what is truly important in life? Can he change before it is too late?<\/span>
