Genius is always universal, but in the proposed book, Vladimir Mayakovsky is presented primarily as a lyricist of tragic perception, who does not find a common language with the majority, who with Russian excessive impatience «rushed his fate» (A. Akhmatova), and as a sharp satirist who believed in high ideals but confronted their monstrous distortions in life.
