Being and Consciousness

The work of the largest Russian psychologist and philosopher S. L. Rubinstein "Being and Consciousness" sheds light on one of the most important problems of philosophical thought—the question of the nature of consciousness in relation to being, to the material world. The book addresses a number of fundamental problems of epistemology—about the ideal and the material, about the subjective and the objective, etc. In solving a number of crucial problems raised in this work, a central place is occupied by the understanding of determinism.
