High mages never take women by force. High mages always keep their word and adhere to their agreements.
That's what I've been told. But what do we know about the high ones? Arrogant, cold, authoritative. The new lords of the land. What do I know about the one with whom I am about to sign a contract?
Nothing.
The only comfort is that he knows a little more about me. And I will do everything to ensure it stays that way. So that we are connected only by our shared nights.
