Vasily Terkin

In the history of Russian literature, few works can compare to «Vasily Terkin» in terms of popularity and the truly nationwide love that has befallen the famous poem by Alexander Tvardovsky, an outstanding Soviet poet and writer, the chief editor... of the legendary magazine «Novy Mir», which became a voice of freedom during the times of «the thaw».
