A Glass of Champagne. Write it Yourself

Nero Wolfe, a passionate orchid collector, a gourmet, a beer lover, and a great detective, practically never leaves his home. He solves all crimes based on the facts collected by Archie Goodwin, his charming, ironic assistant with an excellent memory.... At the annual charity reception hosted by a millionaire, several girls who have given birth out of wedlock are invited, along with an equal number of young men, including Archie Goodwin. During a break between dances, one of the girls, having drunk champagne, dies. Many know that she always carries a vial of poison with her. The police and guests consider this terrible incident a suicide, and only Goodwin insists that the girl was murdered. Wolfe takes on the case to prove Archie right ('A Glass of Champagne'). The famous detective faces an unusual situation when members of the anti-plagiarism committee come to him for help. The problem is that every time a new bestseller is released, an obscure writer announces himself, accusing the book's author of stealing the plot. Wolfe agrees to find the con artist, but soon the plagiarism case takes a new turn and turns into a murder case ('Write it Yourself').
