1869, Concord, Massachusetts. After the publication of her first novel, Jo March was stunned to discover that her book became a bestseller, and the publisher and fans demanded a sequel. When Jo is asked to come up with a new... story, she heads to New York for a week with her dear friend Laurie for a dose of inspiration, filling their days with museums, operas, and even a once-in-a-lifetime reading of Charles Dickens himself!
