The Same Book

Life and dreams are pages of the same book, - wrote the German philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer once, and I repeat after him enchantingly, because it resembles the truth more than the truth itself. And here are a couple of hundred pages, torn from my personal, infinitely hopeful book - randomly, blindly - mixed and sewn together many years ago. This book contains stories, essays, and simply working notes made over the years, wherever and whenever: on napkins in cafes, on the computer and in notebooks, in the sand, in the margins of other people's books, with a chemical pencil on the wrist, with a razor blade on the heels of the running, in reality and in dreams.
