Captain Arena

The adventures of three in a boat (including a dog) continue. After the city of the sun — Palermo, the travelers head straight into the heat — directly into the mouth of the volcano. The fierce ways of Sicily give way to the wild manners of Calabria, whose desperate inhabitants constantly risk their lives. The next volume of the illustrated collected works of Alexandre Dumas includes the travel epic «Captain Arena», which continues «Speronaro», as well as the novel «A Love Adventure», which complements the story of Italian travels.
