The Picture of Dorian Gray

Dorian Gray, an aristocrat of amazing beauty, wished to possess the most valuable gift – eternal youth. And this wish was granted. From now on, vices were reflected not on Dorian's face, but on his painted portrait. He no longer had to fear old age, ugliness, and failures.
However, after decades of trying to escape from the past and unable to change anything, he realizes that he has paid too high a price for what seemed to him a gift, the curse.
