Cassel Sharpe knows that he was made into a hired killer, but he tries to leave that in the past. He struggles to be good, despite having grown up in a family of con artists and being a virtuoso liar.... Cassel wants to do the right thing and convinces himself that working for the government is the right choice, even though he was raised with the belief that the state is the enemy.
But now, with his mother on the run, his beloved girlfriend about to take her place next to his father, the head of a criminal clan, and new secrets emerging all around, Cassel finds it very hard to figure out what is right and what is wrong...
