The book in the Young Readers Club series is part of a cycle of educational tales that reveal to children the diversity and beauty of the surrounding world. The restless Droplet meets a night hunter named Big Ears, and together... they embark on a journey through a vast cave. There, Droplet learns about the lives of underground inhabitants and encounters speleologists - cave explorers. Together with her new friends, Droplet rises to the surface, reading along the way an interesting and even a bit scary story from the lives of primitive people, written right on the cave walls. The book is aimed at developing reading skills in English for 5th-grade students in general education schools. It contains an English-Russian dictionary of words and expressions that may cause difficulties while reading, as well as a list of irregular verb forms.
