Armenian Language. Beginner's Course

The textbook you have in your hands is designed for both independent study of the basics of the Armenian language and for lessons with a teacher. With careful and thoughtful study of the material provided, one can quickly master the rules of reading, the basics of standard pronunciation, and acquire the minimally necessary grammatical material. Since the textbook is aimed at a wide range of users, the author consciously tried to avoid complex linguistic terminology, the grammatical rules are minimized, and the vocabulary is limited to a range of necessary words for everyday communication. In order to introduce students to Armenian culture, the textbook includes cultural studies materials. All texts, dialogues, and many exercises are recorded on a compact disc, read by native speakers, so listening to it will be very useful for developing listening skills and pronunciation. The disc is not included in the set.
