The name of Charlotte Brontë, one of the most popular English writers and the author of the novel "Jane Eyre," is known worldwide. Her literary talent emerged quite early. In childhood, Charlotte, Emily, Anne, and Branwell Brontë, the children of... a parish priest, were absorbed in books from their home library, invented games and stories that gave rise to their future creativity. Young Charlotte tried her hand in different genres; her writings contain romance, adventure, and fiction, along with elements of authorial irony and polemical zeal. However, over time, the main theme of Charlotte Brontë becomes love. This edition includes her stories and novellas from 1829–1834, as well as stories by her brother Branwell. Translator E.
