The Map of the Celestial Sphere, or The Secret Meridian

1767, February. Near the shores of Spain, during a battle with pirates, the sailing ship "Dei Gloria" belonging to the Jesuit order perishes. The only survivor, a cabin boy, mysteriously disappears before he can fully testify about what happened. All... he managed to communicate before his disappearance were the coordinates of the tragedy's location… Spain, our time. Navigator Manuel Koy, temporarily stripped of his right to engage in shipping activities for grounding the ship during his watch, meets a girl at an auction who bought an ancient maritime map for a large sum of money. Tangier Soto, a museum employee in Madrid, is maniacally obsessed with the idea of finding the lost ship, which she believes was carrying cargo of immense importance. She takes Koy on as her assistant, knowing he is an experienced navigation specialist. The girl is well aware that she has crossed the path of powerful and dangerous forces capable of doing anything to eliminate a rival.
