Edgar Drake has always believed that he was not made for adventures. One of the best piano tuners in London, he leads a measured and calm life, where there is no place for upheaval. Tuning musical instruments, Edgar struggles with... chaos; harmony and order define the essence of beauty for him. But one day everything changes. The tuner is offered to travel to mysterious Burma, to the most remote outpost of the British Empire, where an eccentric commander has ordered an exquisite piano from him. In the humid climate of the wild jungle, the instrument has lost its musical perfection.
Drake's journey to Asia becomes not only a journey into the unknown and
