My Life

Konstantin Alexeevich Korovin is primarily known as a brilliant master of landscape painting, a scenographer and decorator, a member of the Wanderers and an Impressionist. However, life was so rich in epoch-making events that the artist reinterpreted it in literary form: he composed an astonishing autobiography "My Life" about his childhood years in Moscow in the 1860s, his studies with Savrasov and Polenov, his friends — Serov, Vrubel, Mamontov and other wonderful figures of the late 19th - early 20th centuries. The collection also includes the author's notes on the year 1917 and memories of F. Chaliapin.
