The Magic Choir

During a business trip to Japan, Dmitry Bavrin learns that his childhood friend and classmate, history teacher Mikhail Protasov, has been arrested. The charges seem ridiculous to Bavrin, but the longer he tries to defend his friend's honor during his... journey, the more bitter it becomes for him to discover that Protasov is confronting not only the state – but society as well. On this path, Bavrin learns whether their shared past is truly lost, and he will touch upon a strange secret from their childhood that changed the life of his closest friend.
