His influence was acknowledged by masters like... Borges and by such idols of millions as Stephen King. His stories have been adapted for film numerous times, and the writer's name has become a household word. François Baranger is a French artist, video game designer, conceptual artist, and futurist. He harbored the dream of illustrating Lovecraft for many years, and finally, the dream has come true: we present to your attention the fourth part of the project with illustrations by the French master, following “The Call of Cthulhu” and “At the Mountains of Madness” (in two volumes) — the story “The Dunwich Horror” about “monstrous atrocities, mysterious deaths, blood minglings, and other acts, no less perverse and blasphemous,” that took place in this corner of northern Massachusetts in 1928…
