This book contains two hundred articles out of one and a half thousand written by Ehrenburg over four years of war. They were all aimed at a single goal: to help the country defeat the enemy. Ehrenburg worked daily and to exhaustion. His texts were known and awaited by the entire country – from soldiers to marshals, from workers to peasants. At the same time, the writer's messages were published in anti-Hitler countries in America and Europe, where they were also popular. It can be said that these recordings are one of the greatest chronicles of the Great Patriotic War. They provide a summary of the main events on the Soviet-German front from 1941 to 1945 and show the full horror of the war, from which the peoples of the USSR emerged victorious. In one of the large united partisan detachments, there was a point in the handwritten order: Newspapers, after reading, should be used for wrapping, except for the articles of Ilya Ehrenburg. K.
