The brave explorers have no idea that they are about to encounter space pirates, a talking bird, robots from the planet Shelezyaka, and the famous Three Captains... Written in 1971, this novella has undergone numerous reprints — including under the titles Alice and the Three Captains and The Girl from Earth. It has been translated into more than fifteen languages and served as the basis for the animated film The Mystery of the Third Planet.
